The Enfin Women’s Fellowship and Academy:
Building a Future of Equal Opportunity

The EWFA is designed to not only support the professional growth of current women employees but also to ensure that equity, diversity, and inclusivity are at the core of our company culture. A key aspect of this initiative is the formal Career-pathing Planning process, which serves as the foundation for each woman employee’s professional journey. Collaboration between the employee, their line manager, and the HR Director is essential to ensure that this plan is actualized, the outcome of which is a personalised Career Development Plan
Moreover, the EWFA is committed to ensuring equal pay for equal work, as stipulated by the Employment Equity Act. We planfully expose our women employees to job enrichment (horizontal growth) and job enlargement (vertical growth) opportunities, giving them the tools they need to advance in their careers. Each woman employee is assigned a professional mentor and a coach of her choice, with the effectiveness of these relationships assessed based on an evidence-based approach. Finally, we provide opportunities for academic advancement and the improvement of on-the-job skills and knowledge.

A Commitment to Growth and Inclusion

At Enfin, we are proud of the strides we have made through the EWFA and the impact it has had on the careers of our women employees. We are committed to continuing this journey of growth, inclusivity, and empowerment, ensuring that every woman at Enfin has the opportunity to reach her full potential and effect positive social and economic outcomes. The success stories of Relebohile, Charné, and Maré are just the beginning. We look forward to seeing the continued achievements of our talented women employees and the positive change they will bring to our company and society in general.
