Site 15 is a farm specialising in cold storage, primarily storing seed potatoes for themselves and various farmers. While the farm itself focuses on potato cultivation, its solar-powered cold storage facilities play a crucial role in preserving seed potatoes for both its own supply chain and other agricultural businesses.

Phase 1: The initial off-grid solar system, commissioned in December 2022, was designed to power the farm’s cold rooms and business operations.
Phase 2: With growing energy demands, an expansion was planned in the spring of 2023. By January 2024, a second dedicated system was installed and commissioned to support the cooling warehouse, increasing overall capacity by approximately 30%.
