The Ola cold storage in Keimos operates with the support of a grid-tied solar system, reducing its reliance on the national grid while ensuring stable energy supply for its temperature-sensitive operations. As a key distribution hub for Ola’s ice cream products the facility requires consistent cooling and efficient energy use. This installation was made possible through a solar financing model under a solar PPA, facilitated by Enfin Energy Finance. With no upfront capital required, the Keimos site pays only for the solar electricity it consumes, making the transition to clean energy both cost-effective and low risk. This strategic use of energy finance enhances the depot’s resilience, supports long-term cost savings and strengthens Ola’s commitment to sustainable logistics.
