In the spirit of Nelson Mandela’s legacy, our team proudly dedicated our 67 minutes and more to giving back to the community. This year, we visited the Talitha Cumi Children’s Home, a local home that provides care and shelter to children in need.
Our day was filled with meaningful moments. We arrived with donations of daily essential from toiletries and baby suppliers to other necessities, hoping to bring some comfort and support to the little ones and the hardworking caregivers, but our contribution did not stop there.
Spending time with the children was truly the heart of the day. Our team members fed bottles to the babies, played with the toddlers and simply offered companionship and affection that many of them long for. It was a humbling reminder of the importance of love, attention and presence.
In addition to the care provided to the children, our technical team got to work behind the scenes, several much-needed electrical repairs were completed, including upgrading light switches and improving the lighting throughout the facility, a small act that we hope will make a big difference in their day-to-day life.
Mandela once said, “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others.” We’re grateful for the opportunity to make a difference, even in a small way and we remain committed to uplifting our communities.
We Thank Talitha Cumi for welcoming us with open arms and for the incredible work they do every day. This Mandela Day was not only about giving, but it was also about growing, connecting and honoring the values that Madiba stood for.
